Created some Latin

It’s been a while, but I had the opportunity to create a phrase in Latin today. A co-worker needed a Latin phrase created for a family crest or something for a story he is writing. He wanted the following phrase: “When hunting demons, don’t let yourself become one.”
Ouch.

Lot’s of implied subjects there and let’s not forget the reflexive “let yourself become” thing. So I created another phrase with a similar meaning around which I was able to wrap my head: “With the hunting of demons, don’t become a demon.” This leads us to:

CUM VENANDUM DAEMONIORUM
NON DAEMONIUM FIS

I am very rusty and only have 3 years of High School Latin training and a Latin-English dictionary to go by, so I hope I did it properly. If anyone out there is reading this and actually knows Latin, feel free to correct me in the comments…
