It’s Gac on the Attack! Overall, this was a very close game, ruled mostly by fate, chaos, luck, random cosmic noise interference . . or whatever you want to call it.

On turn 4, Gac scored 120 points, with RAZOR and FOR on triple word. Gac pulled ahead on turn 5 by 6 points, then we were tied on turn 6 at 514 points. Gac outscored me by pure luck-of-the-draw on turn 7, and won the game.

The last play plus "rack bonus" was the play of the game. I had been trouncing Gac the entire game, but Gac came back on the last play with ZIT on triple word, a litany of other points around the board and happened to run out of tiles without tiles in the bag, which ended the game. (Un)lucky for me, I had Q R and S on my rack. After adding Gac’s 114 for words and the 12 off my rack, then subtracting 12 from my score, Gac won by 2 points.
