Here is Day 2 of my Fall Sabbatical. October 21, 2008.

Far fewer pictures this day. Got up later, spent most of the day driving, and the rest of the day hiking up a very steep trail to the Maryland Heights overlook. There are only so many views of Harpers Ferry you can take from up there. Went to Harpers Ferry/Maryland Heights primarily. Passed through three states, twice, before finding the damned place (I gave horribly bad directions). Passed Antietam Battlefield, but didn’t actually visit it. We took a couple of pictures to show we were there, though. Pictures by Gac.
