Recent Inanity – 4/17/2010

Switched back to Seven theme. Gotta promote it, and it works better for my site layout.

Playing with Windows Home Server on a virtual machine – I want to see if it will work better for my household to use Home Server instead of Server ’08 R2. All the integration between Home Server and the workstations and the Media Center box intrigues me.

Cleaning the house waiting for a new arrival. WOOT on the arrive, un-WOOT on the cleaning.

Updated WordPress on the box to 2.9.2 – gotta stay current you know. I still have to get around to rebuilding the server, though.

On hiatus…

… until my mind returns to me. Too busy in work and life to pay much attention to the blog right now. Maybe I’ll set up a Twitter account, because microblogging is really all I have time for right now.

I fix things…

Fixing things is in my genetic makeup. My grandfather built and fixed furniture. My father fixes cars and builds walls. My uncle built houses, barns, and pole buildings – oh, and also fixed cars. My brother: well, he fixes anything in front of him, including motherboards, televisions, bicycles, cars, and, oh yeah, F-117 aircraft radar systems.

Me? I fix computers. And apparently, locks too.
