To the mountains again…
It’s time for another fall trip to the mountains. It’s going to be great because I am going to have more than just a couple of days to trudge over rocks, through woods and in swamps.
I am going to take a chunk of tech with me: the laptop, the Droid, my TrackStick, and maybe the Flip Video.
The coolest piece of tech though, has to be the Canon DSLR – just got a telephoto/pseudo-macro combo lens, new tripod and carry case for it all today. Maybe I’ll be able to get some nice far off pictures of things in valleys, or some close ups of butterflies.
Have fun while I’m gone – I will.
Music On The Levee
Just a quick update: heard a great 20s music concert here in Davenport IA tonight. Not usually my kind of music, but the band played exceptionally. It was super fun. Videos to come later…

Yes, I went there. Yes, I took pictures. Yes, I am a Trek fan. Even cooler than being there – running into other fans from New York passing through, making the same impromptu unlikely pilgrimage.
Otherwise, I’m just having fun in Davenport, Iowa. Old music, easier times. Away from work. *breathe*
