What Is This?

This is what happens when I, Inanis, combine my two favorite hobbies: computers and Lego. 3D-Rendered, Linux-Served, PHP-Parsed Lego goodness happens.

From the ages of 10 to 19, I had a huge Lego-based universe with it's own storyline. That universe was based on the entire "modern" Space/Future line of models, starting with Space Police I and Blacktron I, then ending with Roboforce, but it mostly revolved around Space Police II era models, and their encounters protecting the universe. That universe has been bottled up in my head and is slowly leaking out through this wiki.

Most of the small models shown here actually exist and are sitting on various surfaces at my humble abode, the exceptions being: - Brimstone: exists only as a MLCad drawing (my first attempt at building without real Lego) - Patriot, Patriot Refit and Phantom: built by a friend and now only exist as computer files.

The computerized versions of my models are created using MLCad and it's various files. These are then converted to POVRay scene files using L3PAO. The resultant POVRay scene files are hand edited to add special lighting, glowing weapons elements, and other neat stuff. The final files are then thrown out to my Render Farm using SMPOV. The result: pretty 3D Lego models that look much more geek than snapshots from any camera.
